Something that helps is basically creating a backstory for your character. What countries did they pass through before getting to the zone, are they trying to become rich or escape something?

Hmm.. I could pull out an old character sheet of mine. I had a Duty woman, who I believe ran from her abusive family who would stalk her anywhere she ran. She ended up in Duty at about age 21.

She basically moved about 15 times and thus is chronically broke.

When I think Duty I generally think more of a uniform look, probably real issued military gear such as Smersh belts, chest rigs, things like that. Probably a plate carrier, too.. or a lightweight scout, which would be waaaay easier

Yeah, there are also 3D printed filters that look more like standard gas mask filters, or adapters to 40mm filter threading. I just got a dual tube that went straight on the mask off Aliexpress, tubes go into a pouch on the back of my rig and I took the rubber out so I just breathe through the front.

Honestly not too sure post printing. They'll always have lines if it's filament. What I do is just try to sand down bits as much as possible but very lightly. Can spray over it but I haven't tried that yet so IDK

I'd recommend just sanding it down because the lines stick out, it'll make them more even

if you are doing freedom try to get a Flecktarn jumpsuit,if its a Loner a solid dark olive jumpsuit would work too,but if you cant get jumpsuits a normal pants and shirt combo could also work,would just be harder to customize

which of the suits are you trying to emulate

or do you just wanna kitbash a milsurp kit
