It is only few minutes ago an idea came to me:

creating a public playlist for collecting atmospheric or nearly atmospheric music tracks fit for STALKER, meaning only music which shares the feeling of the game > post-apocalyptic Ukraine. This document of sorts can be hosted on Google Docs for example and everyone can populate as well as download it THIS IS NOT ABOUT DOWNLOADING MUSIC, STREAMING ONLY

What for?

• you'll have virtually endless choice of tracks, pick something to listen to while either playing, working on your STALKER mod/project/etc.
• you won't need to spend hours to look up proper material
• you'll be able to find new artists, labels, whatever
• you'll enjoy whatever you're doing far better with proper music rather than listening to shipe, instant motivation
• a lot more pros

What do you say?
Is anyone interested in contributiing to such community effort if it's done at all? I'm up for starthing it myself and work on the possible formatting, only need feedback.

Yes , there’s a certain block post in the area , where duty don’t let you go through , after you are finished with x16 talk to barkeep , and he’ll tell you that duty leader has a job for you, talk to the guys at the block post and they’ll let you through

Then go to faction leader : Voronin , he’ll ask you get him a rg6 grease launcher , which is located at the army warehouses

It's not like CS that cit will show you the actual faction you joined, it's more like that you earn their respect and so they considerate you one of their own

You can pretty much do anything you want, staying neutral or not it won't really change anything for the canonical ending (SoC)

How is vanilla and mod are different in those 2 aspects?

One is a fps rpg with survival elements, the other is a fps survival game with rpg elements (Well, if we're talking about Anomaly, Misery, etc...)

Despite having up to little differencies, the core gameplay is different

They're absolutely broken. Sometimes the game decides that it doesn't want to send a group to a particular location, therefore making capturing of that point impossible, sometimes it will delay the capture for 30 real life minutes or even more, hell, you can't even finish the FW, enemy groups always respawn at their mane base even if it's been long since captured.

it requires almost full dedication, currently on a freedom run and im dead broke because i can't go artifact hunting because im holding off duty's 3 squads every 20 minutes into the garbage from agro prom, can't advance further because i have jack medkits and bandages, can't get medkits and bandages because i can't make money, then freedom pays next to nothing for taking the entire garbage

my gripe with pripyat is that the firefights are good, the story is kinda good but it's way to short, the game offers barely any replay value beyond the different endings that don't effect anything; trying to keep everyone alive maybe, hunt some mutants but compared to the other games where in your 5th playthrough you can still be learning/doing new stuff it's just

When ur gun is melting away from the amount of rounds u shot through it alot of bullets start straying off target when fired direction on the sights it's not a bug or intended to make u think the difficulties or borked it's just realistic since ur gun is damaged it either has bad accuracy or always jams

Stalker Clear Sky is not so well optimized or i'm doing something wrong? I need to play with DX10 disabled, otherwise I keep ~60 fps, CoP with everything in best quality i run solid +150 fps 🤔

masters soc is easy its the standalone mods that are difficult also soc is pointless without mods because the game has a bug where u cant progress without fixing it with mods

ive also played stalker since i was like 7 i used to have shoc on steal case and i remember playing it and my dad couldnt stop telling me how this game is ahead of its time for the graphics

like shoc base graphics was terrible looking at sidorovich u ugly scumbag but the map detail and depth of the polygons like the bricks at 100 rads or the bark on the trees even the cracks in the roads had depth

underground's not to hard, but like epic said there's random armour hidden throughout the map that you don't need to buy, if you really want you can go loot artifacts and eventually sell them at the bar or wherever and buy a exoskeleton, only problem is it's slow af

I was playing stalker soc and I got a ton of artifacts to sell to the barkeep along with the meat chunk artifact I got for a mission. I talk to the barkeep and complete the job then go to the trading screen and for around 30 seconds I thought I left it in a stash or something and started freaking out until I remembered.
