I’m gonna play devils advocate and say Microsoft doesn’t want to own GSC because it’s not a regular release studio and they have a small portfolio. Microsoft buying them doesn’t guarantee that their next products will be profitable and smooth. This is GSC, the second king of delays, Valve being #1. Microsoft would rather fund them and take their sales cut rather than oversee and micro manage them. Besides, with that large acquisition, they have their hands completely full of IP to reboot and turn a profit on so they can make money from the acquisition

Companion mechanic with broken A.I, weapon disassemble and assemble (never used properly, unless you love to collect trash from the whole Zone to fix that one PM), craft mechanics (never used, too, because you can get the items you need without a problem).
Disguise system, which doesn't help at all if you use the base settings. It also breaks the game sometimes.
