You're right it isn't DL2 however the rumors and the amount of info the public has and was shown about stalker 2 is extremely small. When a game is close to its release date and not much is known about it there's a fair chance that release date is no longer valid

No one likes delays. People say things like best to delay the game rather then end up like cyberpunk. Cyberpunk was delayed 4 times to my knowledge and still ended up horrible. Delayed games aren't always gonna be good.

The main concern right now is lack of proper gameplay, understanding the mechanical slice of the game, how it works with less cherry picking

The only few things i need is just seeing all the ui stuff, how that interaction goes, including inventory stuff. Seeing that you can actually communicate with stalkers through a dialogue window. And some gameplay slice of fighting with mutants, getting an artifact and then trading it.

UI that resembles CS would not be a great idea in today's day and age. There's more efficient ways of doing it. You could mix detailed UI art with simplistic approach too, it doesn't have to be in any of the two extremes.
