Anomaly by itself is mediocre. However, it's the best one because of the ridiculous amount of support it gets. Literally the most customizable and diverse STALKER experience out there.

You can make it an arcadey shooter or a super-hardcore grimdark survival game. Tweak it to your tastes with the ridiculous amount of settings and mods. That's why it's the best.

All the other mods are 100% stuck being whatever the original development team wanted it to be.

Anomaly has literally never crashed for me on its own, lol. It crashed my old GPU because it was already dying, and it crashes when I install a mod improperly, but other than than, it's the most stable STALKER out there.

So a dev on the steam forum just said that no matter which game version you buy, you get the complete experience and that the side quests and I assume the DLC expansions that you get if you only buy the higher editions are not cut content and dont count as the complete experience? Wtf?
