The RPG doesn't seem really fitting with the Zone, it is the right geography for the weapon type, but the purpose of it is for destroying vehicles, buildings and such.

Using it on any type of mutant is overkill realistically. (But as a game mechanic of the sponges some of them are, seems a requirement when it shouldn't be, just reduce damage on certain calibre types)

True but it’s far enough for marketing to hold off. Probably one last trailer left for this year (dropping Christmas or last day of the year) and then late January early February more information should be coming regular. They don’t want to spend money on marketing too early. They need more ready to show off. It’s a not so secret secret that the E3 trailer was clutched out late and the weapon showcase was filler until that trailer was ready

The Kyiv version is closer to lectures + a showcase, especially now tha they are prepared for Covid better, whilst the Odessa one is exclusively lectures

Well, it seems like we're closer to a showcase if we compared it to Odessa, still tho, can't 100% say if GSC will show anythin durin the 30th to the 5th. It's likely but we just don't know for certain. If I were to use intuition I would say yeah, this is probably the time in which we'll see somethin more about stalker 2. That or the game awards although that event is more focused on the west so idk.

I think the originals and anomaly do different things. I dont necessarily appreciate the changes Anomaly makes so use mods to adjust them, but for just free roaming as a different faction, run of the mill stalkering, its a nice combination of the maps and items, with a quest if you want it.

yeah, it's always annoying when people don't start with the original games, you really need background knowledge of stalker to be able to do anomaly

it's really good as a sandbox stalker game for doing whatever you want to do in the zone as whatever faction you want to be, but people really need to play the original games first, too many people start with anomaly and have no idea what they're doing
