It's dependant on the mod itself, some mods even have a story of their own (like Anomaly, even though it's kinda hated here as I see), while some mods can add additional missions that weren't even in the original games

If he or someone could confirm that it would be cool. Even so that would be peak zone population of the first wave and not of the zone later. A lot would say the zone was at peak in the beginning but that may not be the case. If there were 300 before faction wars and stuff the game wouldn’t make sense since it would only literally have 100 people if that. And we see far more than that ourselves

Since the lore comes from CS it’s limited to that timeframe. And S2 is trying to establish new factions so all population bets are off. And playing technical advocate they can fit more people in the game now too

The originally story writer died and writing teams are teams and single individuals can conflict the lore. What we see and play is the gospel at the end of the day

It’s weird to be told there’s only a handful of people and then run into established locations like Rostock, Cordon, swamps, dark valley, army warehouses, CNPP, etc

If monolith wasn’t that big they wouldn’t be in gridlock and constant death with freedom
