All I'm saying is this looks like an especially bad thing to implement on games like stalker judging from earlier games,you'd take nothing from it,itd be the same as a flashing RGB rainbow of warm grounded colours
Metro is a more slowed down and more animated game
It makes sense in it but stalker would be too fast and its scenery never changes
The positive points taken from metro are practically null here and can be replicated by a fan of selected colours being switched by an application on your pc

I think the area around Jupiter train station usually was quite good. Got many bubbles and eyes and Jellyfish there.
also, for maximum money, hoard artifacts and then go to shadovsk and use them for artifact missions

So, my hopes for co op stalker are low(not here to debate about whether or not an optional game mode is a "good idea" for solo play).
But if it's just normal pvp again, I think it's a waste of resources, considering it's history of multiplayer modes

Guides should for sure be a thing, but there should be lots of variations to their usefulness, directed by in depth custom difficulty parameters.

Also guides work because they leave you in important places but not directly on top of them so you have to actually walk to get there and not invalidating the whole "exploration" part

the existing feature I spoke about was guides, and that of course wouldn't take inspiration from the mod. I mentioned that their usefulness, as many things, could be fine tuned by custom difficulty settings. Something I'd like to see more in Stalker.
Just because you want guides to be available in all your playthroughs, or because you wanna play on normie master difficulty, doesn't mean I don't want to remove or alter the guides, ramp up damage received, drop damage delivered, etc.
- Just because it comes from a sandbox mod doesn't make it a bad feature
- The sandbox mod got the idea from countless... COUNTLESS games that have custom difficulty settings allowing you to set it harder than the hardest difficulty. That is what I want. You can pretend to be ignorant of the setting all you want, but it's not a suggestion that they should "take inspiration from a mod", as much as a feature suggestion that's been around since before stalker was even a concept
