I remember picking up clear sky in my early 20s, installing it and getting mad over the heavy stuttering. couple years later with a better pc I started up the game again and it was instant love. Never left the zone ever since. Lived in Berlin for many years and through this game I grew an immense love of urban exploring. The damn adventures I had. After I would come back home and play Stalker. Being a composer and artist, having red the book and watched the film, this shit really influenced me heavily.

The thing that brought me here first of is the realistic approach to the main subject "Reactor 4 of Tjernobyl", It amazed me how such relatively "clean" energy could cause that much of havoc. That's also how i got into the study, i want to prevent/inspect such disasters and didactically give information/learning giving/passing it on to people in the same boat as me!

Cutscenes hardly belong in stalker. As long as it’s not tearing control away from the player. Half Life rules always work best for immersion. The flashback dreams were a perfect implementation in SOC
