Despite the fact that weapon modding existed in stalker literally since begging, not to mention that it is fact extensive weapon modifications will be in Stalker 2. Fact is that EFT was inspired by none other but stalker itself and build on that basis, because EFT is 10 years newer game, there is no surprise EFT implementation is better, but somehow you want to box you brain into some historic limitation in game design and apply them fro new game.
