Games that focus on high-information throughput, learning and patience, and have bugs/difficulties making things work as intended are very annoying to play on straight 1-life, no save scumming. Setting personal goals is much better like campfire only saves, only legit deaths count towards failure, things like that. I'm not going to put 30 hours into a campaign just to get RNG'd by a pulse anomaly. Be prepared, play safe, fight smart, and you wont die legitimately

That being said, for full on immersion as a true stalker yeah, rng gets people all the time XD but its a game with real life time spent on it, ultra immersion isnt worth that for me
