Freedom’s suit is the best for upgrading artifact slots and anomaly damage. Their weapons generally have more push where as Duty’s armor is more bullet protected and their ammo is easier to find/buy.

Also the starting weapons the Thunder and the SGI 5k are really great of both factions. I’d definitely consider joining at least one faction``

See that's the biggest issue here. We've waited 11 years for this, the only reason STALKER 2 is a possibility is because of people like us continuing to support and expand on what GSC gave us. I want straight, simple answers about certain features and things. I do not understand why after 3 and a half years of development we cant even be told if there's leaning in it. How did the discussion go around what to add to an ultimate edition. This was the first time that GSC released something of this scale (iirc, the other games were a long time ago). Was it a round table of discussion of "This would be cool" or was it more along the lines of "This is cool, but not within the scope".

I mean I see your point, I really do. Steelbooks however have been a common "collectors" styled item for many games, movies, and series for quite some time. It's mainly a common occurrence. But this is mainly in regards to PC. Cannot speak for console if that is what you mean.

I honestly have mixed feelings about real discs nowadays. The last physical copy I ever bought, was Far Cry 5. It has 5 DVDs inside. honestly, just using the serial code and downloading it was much quicker
