In 2008 it had a bit of a rougher launch compared to Call of Pripyat and a lot of people are stuck with that mindset. Almost like a lot saying that the games are unplayable without mods (not true at all). Some people just haven't moved on from 2009 yet

Strangely weird ghetto fix. Basically it was the flyback transformer operating at 15khz which is the area where people can hear the whine and setting my monitor resolution higher using NVIDIA Custom resolution settings the CVT timing setting removed all the annoying whining the montiro did
