I kinda glossed over everything in Outer Worlds as being comically bad, whether intentionally or not, but what I did like was the freedom in completing the story, I just decided to kill one of the main characters and not bother with the whole plot around her and ended that quest/storyline early, the setting is kinda nice too, I think the world building was better than fallout, but I havent played that much of fallout, it just seemed more interesting to me than how fallout executed their concept of hiding in vaults, its a great concept but somehow the execution isn't my cup of tea whereas outer worlds was exactly what I expected from the idea as far as execution, it felt more real, even if it isn't as 'serious' as fallout it is more sincere in my eyes, as far as comparing either to the stalker games though they are light years apart

Because a realistically the Ukrainian military would have it on lock-down I think. Pripyat IRL has people that go in a steal copper and other metals to scrap but at that it numbers in the dozens. With the threat of these types of anomalies I doubt even the most adventurous criminal would risk their life's when there is more money to be made from drugs or trafficking. This is if we are talking about a hypothetical real zone.
