Yeah you can gain respect with freedom and duty but you can actually change your group from Loner to Freedom by failing the task kill the snitch then completing defend the barrier if you go talk to Lukash after you will become a freedom member however it breaks the game as you become enemies with Duty and the Ecologists while Becoming friendly with Bandits and Mercenaries
