NIICHAZ/SIIRCA EXPLANATION
So in late 2019/early 2020, GSC sent their moderators and content creators some gifts. Hoodie, stickers, bag and a card
The cards looked something like this
This was the one that me and other moderators received for example
As time went on, content creators and 10 people form the 100 original cipher solvers also received their cards
As you can see, the cards have all types of text on them in all sorts of languages
In total, there were 36 cards and they ended up making a newspaper
This is how the full deck looks like (thanks Boris for giving it to me in January lmao)
Putting the deck together you found out about a journalist named Veniamyn Alexenko and his disappearance, in the cards there were also 4 phone numbers. Once you called them, you got a message:
“And if you're listening to this recording, it means I was right all along. I found out about a real conspiracy, and it's taking place right here inside the Zone. LISTEN CAREFULLY. This is not some illuminati crap. The real deal. In order to get to the bottom of this, I'll need some help from someone from the mainland. Here's what I need, and I'd start writing this down if I were you. A scheme of the BM chart, but without the 0's, a number with a carrying capacity of 4.55 tons and the average number of the lighthouse. I have literally zero ideas on what all of that could mean, but anyway, it's up to you to figure this out. Once you do, call back here and transmit your findings via the town signal. I understand that this might sound like...nonsense, but if I'm right.... Good luck”
This is what a man that introduced himself as the cipher was talking about
To put it short, using elements from the game and some mind nogging, we got more clues, called cipher man again, entered a number as we called him, things continued, found out about a journalist being dead in a bunker in Yanov
After that, we found out that the apparently dead journalist had a Facebook page
Searched for all types of clues there, eventually the NIICHAZ/SIIRCA/Whatever website got updated
They were looking for new employees and after some console mish mashing on the website, you could apply to work for them
A lot of people got in, a lot didn't, but this is where we're at now. I honestly missed a good amount of details as there is a crazy amount of things to explain, but I hope this helps.
