The soundtrack seems fitting. I hope GSC doesn't go the route of modern releases in revealing too much; But the zone dreams is interesting, like falling into a deeper dream.
Is Skif the dreamer or the dream? What happens when the zone wakes up? GSC are storytellers, not video game makers. I hope they stay true to what they are.

I think there's 2 camps: the die-hard "must be this way or is not Stalker" fans, and the "well, I hope they do more", oh and the random person that has no clue what is going on. Most game makers today appeal to that last category, which imho shouldn't even be taken into account at all. Reason being: you don't know if a bystander would actually like the franchise enough to buy the game, but you 100% know there's these bastards that already like the franchise, so maybe those are the 'target audience'?

I also hope it doesn't become an on-rails experience like Metro. Metro is gorgeous, nice story, nice visuals, but is so restrictive, on-rails. There's no choice at all.
