the "g" key is used to drop the weapon you're holding. you can change it in the keyboard settings.
if you want to get your weapons back, i guess you're gonna have to look for them on the ground.

The VC's are Russian/Ukrainian, so they might have that accent for you, but it's not a huge problem imo

Hm yeah i get that. Problem with Tarkov is that its not balanced on purpose. Its "hyperrealism" basically relies on unbalanced situations. That way it cant be predictable. This has been literary said by one of the devs. Kinda reason why i aint playing that shit.

well I tried the kife strat and almost died trying to pick up his gun, and when I retreated behind a tree to heal up and sort my inv all the guys nicley lined up as they were approaching me so all I had to do was spray em down lol

But if You want to mod them for first playthrough welp can't stop You, but i still highly recommend vanilla in first playthrough and then mod the hell out of the engine

Every box / stash / storage thing you find (except bodies) has the potential to be a stash so they should all be fine. Stash population in the first two S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games doesn't overwrite the contents, it just adds to it. If this weren't the case then the 'base' stashes in CS wouldn't work properly; instead of a few more bullets / bandages being added each day the number would just be reset to like 1 or 2 items instead. 👍
