One thing which I wonder though in first Stalker is why GSC made stalkers and mutants unable to do anything in offline mode, aside of movement? Because originally there was even turn based combat system for offline combat and they could do anything they were able to do in online mode too. Before the offline mode of npcs being butchered to just walking around the zone. 🤔

I saw it in Yantar in OGSE mod which implements that. In vanilla game, on first enter, Yantar was full of zombified stalkers, before progressing in storyline. Though I didn´t stay there after shutting down X16. But in OGSE, with Offline a-life enabled, when I went there, instead of zombified stalkers, there were some Duty ones, who probably got there sooner and cleared the area off zombies (aside of X16 entrance). So that´s probably reason too. 🤔

Selling things that aren't artefacts is basically pointless as far as I can tell. You can dismantle guns for their parts, but they are fairly heavy and don't sell for much. You can also repair your own weapons that way, but it is difficult because you need all the proper repair kits and access to a workbench which will also cost you a thousand rubles.
I mean you can kill them on story mode as well.

it runs on ue4 i believe which is a fairly demanding engine so id say a 1060 6gb/1070 and 16 gb of ram is a safe bet, not sure where i would place a processor, prob r5 1600/2600 or i5 8600(k). just my guess tho
