The game is coming to PC and launching first on Xbox Series X as a console launch exclusive
I'll be honest, this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. However, I hope that deal they made brought a lot of funding for GSC. As long as it helps them develop their dream stalker game I'm ok. Just for the love of god, please release it on the steam store for PC at least.

Most of us know that was a trailer, but the fact that it's coming to console at all concerns everyone who has played the other games. Yes, it's great that console players can finally play a STALKER game, but we have tons more buttons on a keyboard that do things than a controller will. That's the major thing we're wondering about. How simple did they have to make the inventory and the controls so that console can play it relatively easy?

@open lintel yes, but 4a made metro with great inspiration from stalker (including even stalker assets in the early builds). I can see S2 being inspired by Metro heavily.

to me the only concern I have for a console launch stalker is that the interface will be bad, it's not like og stalker was a highly complex game it was simple and had a good ass open world
