It's wild just how basic this alife system is — watching a breakdown in 1.4 shows just how rudimentary it is/was. No where near the scope (of the reduced/released final alife from stalker trilogy).

sure the game released but people noticed issues in their first hour of playing the game... I just wonder how and what made them decide to release it in that state.
I'm not going to bash on the devs or whatever the game is still good and I enjoyed my time with it (200+ hours) and I want to play it more once it is more ironed out in the future BUT the game would have had a better reputation if it released in a better state (hence another delay to 2026) but maybe they needed to release it so they can at least earn some profits to further increase the length of support for updates / future DLCs.

honestly wait some more I'd say, 6 hours into first playthrough on patch 1.4.1 and I'm still noticing stuff like broken quest elements, AI that is slow to respond but also razor-sharp accuracy, Bloodsuckers can't jump on high objects so you can just glitch out their AI from above, spotted NPCs getting briefly stuck in doors, world currently feels mad empty still... Got some ways to go

A lot of DLC is also planned out and even started being worked on before the game even launches. Stories often need to be written with DLC story and mechanics in mind.

Well the main trick to the flash anomaly is to zigzag when you are in the area of one. They are a predictive anomaly so if you are changing directions frequently they will be far easier to dodge

Not really. Before you visit Sirca everybody is basically a rookie, after Sirca suddenly everybody is having mid gear, and some time later in the game everybody is wearing Exos. I don't have a problem with this kind of progression, but rookies in Zalysia/Kordon and Exo Veterans in dangerous areas make more sense. For example IPSF is always in low gear before sirca no matter where you meet them, and after they all wear Beryl 5Ms all of a sudden.

What people need to understand about framegen is that the input is always going to be half (or 1/3 or 1/4) as fast as the output. Turning on framegen at a framerate lower than 60, to get 60 fps will lock your native frames (and responsiveness) to 30.

So regardless of how quick you can get the process of generating frames, if your input is slow, it's going to feel slow.

I've learned their original attack pattern and they've become easy to kill, after 1.4 they started dogging and become harder, but ok, you could still wait for the jump attack, dodge and unleash on them, but after 1.4.1 they become so much faster (veteran difficulty) Why do you hate is so much 😭

You can definitely achieve pristine results when the resources are there to design all the features and workflow for a specific game. The new doom is a pretty good example of that, and the tech they're using for Crimson Desert looks good too
