Oblivion was awesome, but for me not as memorable as Morrowind, the start of Morrowind was BRUTAL. A small ahh rat can murder you easily, Morrowind forced the players to get good and the world is so hostile, despite the map is huge, but the exploration never gets bored, I believe stalker fans here know what I'm talking about, while in Oblivion I didn't feel that much satisfaction in character progression as from Morrowind, but Oblivion was definitely better good looking than Morrowind tho

Is GSC nailing their own coffin with this delay? Like its not good they didnt deliver on the game although they are working towards that but with the money thats been made from this they should have been able to a) get a reliable supplier and b) deliver on time. My Oblivion remaster works pretty good, I get higher framerates in Oblivion than i do S2. Maxed out both games, I get a consistent 80 in S2 and Oblivion I get 140 for interiors and 80 consistent outside. Both games have the UE5 stutter. Apparently the stutter is a famous UE5 thing.

I would get the zone reclamation project mod for soc, it will help with the bugs. One thing is i would disable the sleeping bag before you enter a save, or it will be in your inventory forever. It wont fully fix the crashes but should help

Just like the first order, GSC said the UE would not ship until ALL the items were ready.
The second order could be a case, where all the items but one have been produced.
The vendors are not going to ship partial orders. That would be too expensive.
So the delay could be on something like the lamp, which is more complex.

That GSC decided after the initial run ran out of stock quickly, did they realize there was higher demand.
Then GSC made the decision to initiate a second printing, due to the unexpected higher demand.
The game was way more popular than GSC expected, most likely due to being on PC AND XBox.
GSC desired a second printing and getting the companies that had a couple of years, to produce the first run
Were now tasked to produce a large quantity of orders, in a very short time, to meet the second printing.
Now people are blaming the Vendors for not shipping something they don't have.
And people are blaming GSC, for not delivering something, that they never were obligated to do from the beginning.
People just have to understand that everyone is at the mercy of the companies hired to produce the items.
That means GSC is not to blame. The Vendors are not to blame. The companies to produce the items say February 2026.

I have RTX 3070 with Ryzen 7 5800X and 64GB 3600Mhz ram. The game runs on any setting (even ultra) smoothly but only for a limited time. If it runs with 70fps on ultra settings, why can't keep this performance at least in medium? Can't everybody buy a PC from NASA...
