Any mod recommendations to make this game less shitty?I 've beat the game vanilla and I hated every minute of it. This game is NOTHING like the original games and it makes me sad. For pretty much the first half of the mod, AK-74u is the best gun you can get, the mod forces you to upgrade and use it for long time

My point from the beginning has been that the Vintar is a good weapon, not that it's a sniper rifle.

You can snipe with it, but its range is limited and even with good bullet drop prediction still won't reach true sniper ranges.

I love the weapon so much because of its versatility. In S2 I just wish it was still viable in the end-game like it was in the trilogy, and that we could put a canted sight on it. We can get an extended magazine that gives it 20 rounds per mag, if we it had a canted sight it would literally be my perfect weapon.
