It's not worth it, tbh. As soon as the base of one of the factions gets captured the life simply stops. Like, literally, there's nothing going on after you clear out, for example, bandits and duty. Clear sky is the worst in the series, even stalker 2 is better

Anyway, I would not go as far as say I can't recognize STALKER in Stalker 2, but it is objectively for one or another reason worse than any of its predecessors. At least for me
SoC is better because:
FAR more atmospheric, gloomy and mysterious and dark, more underwound locations, more coherent plot

CS is better because:
Factions work much better, A-Life very visible, Limansk

CoP:
tons of side quests in comparison, more interaction with NPCs, focused on filling smaller space with live, but arguably less atmospheric.

Yes, the Journalist stashes were a way for GSC to give the pre-order bonus armors and weapons to Players. Not all at once, but spread out as you progress in the game.

I still stand by that — Unreal 5 isn't a bad engine, it's just that developers abuse the technologies too much, ones that save them time at the cost of the consumer paying with their hardware.
