I made a mod caled Mutant Physics and audio fix, which essentially fixed our player collision with mutants and removes the horrible audio bug that previously existed when you ran into a mutant or dead body, I've expanded it a bit more to all objects in the game with a few more needing some refinement, I also fixed a bug GSC has currently that has their audio time outs nulled

iirc Grigorovich was fine with the idea of him splitting up at first, but after Griga fired lots of developers in 2006 and Prohorov picked them up things got a little too tense, there was even a lawsuit between 4A and GSC for using X-ray in Metro 33 builds i think, we have the builds btw, and they do use X-ray

anyway are you stupid, that's a prime example of hierarchical corpo structures being bad, Griga should've never been in a position to just fire half the devs before release

actual development was on and off for quite a while, was it for stalker 2 the whole time? I don't think so. I think originally they wanted to do a remake and went with their engine, but ultimately felt wrong on doing a remake and decided to make a new vision of the zone, which lead to the development of stalker 2, while that lingering feeling of making a remake remained on the new UE engine it was ultimately scapped and setup for how we have it today with a lot of pieces missing, from the war and a few other unfortunate events I won't go further into.

fallout 3 was great at the time, it locked me in its world for a long time, the green tone enhanced the feeling of post-apocalypse and depression. the same way the blue accents are used in something like Blade Runner to enhance the cyberpunk vibe. It's just an art style.

Call Of Prypiat was my favourite stalker because it made special designs for the artefacts to appear in that actually look really cool, the anomalies are really cool! so I am glad that the stalker 2 enhanced even more the coolness of those designs. Cyberpunk is also a bit of disappointment for me. Even after they fixed the game many aspects are not that good. The world still feels shallow and empty and so much potential is wasted. It’s much better to make things in one go rather than patch after patch

Are you using the key to auto-sort? Sometimes you can have a blank spot if it can't crunch everything just right.

Try removing an item or adding an item if a blank spot in your inventory causes you distress.
