Conviction had some fun bits but it felt like too much of a departure from the traditional Splinter Cell style. Like, you can only kill people, I don't think you even have the option of sneaking past and not engaging from what I remember.

Gameplay-wise I actually think Blacklist was great. Tons of options for exploration through the levels, you actually get rewarded more points if you perfectly sneak through and never touch anyone, etc. Felt a lot closer to something like Chaos Theory or Double Agent.

I have RTSS open, and I noticed something odd with the GPU metrics that I have on the overlay:

GPU Usage stays at 100% all the time, sure, and its a 1650 super with 4gb of vram, yeah.
However, what I also noticed is the GPU power for some reason staying at 50%, essentially limiting itself for no reason at all

So the GPU, at 50% of power, is being used at 100%.
However, when the GPU actually unlimits itself and goes all 100%, my FPS go to 60s

But then it goes back to being heavily power limited for no reason

About betrayal, i remember playing SCUM... like ALOT. But i was so scared of confrontation that i mostly kept to myself in the NorthEastern most part of the map just looting military bases and stashing loot away in buried chests. Some day i decided that i'm finally ready to get down and look for trouble. And i was packing man, everything was top of the line. Fully modded M4, AWP, bunch of ammo and so on... What happened was, as i was trekking down from the mountains, my character got quite hungry as henry would say, and i had no food on me. I walked into the forest to find some shrooms. And there it was... Licoperdum Gigantea... Big as a soccer ball... Man my guy was salivating... So idk if you know but SCUM has full metabolic system in game, but turned out that right at that time, stomach was glitched in a way that would not stop your character eating even if he had his full share.... I ate the shroom... My stomach erupted.... Character died.... Couldn't find the body after respawning... Ditched the game right after this

I don't have any technical expertise but i know Kenshi devs are making a Kenshi 2 built on UE5 instead of OGRE, and i think they said that modding will be available, but it won't be as in depth and versatile as making mods for the first game... But i feel like mostly what it comes down to is how much the devs actually care, and are willing to work around things. ALso note that big licensed engines have less modification capabilities than in-house or lesser known engines AFAIK
