Yeah the SMGs in this game is so good I love them all.
Sadly I can't say the same to ARs.
The best ones are Kharod and Dnipro no doubt.
But the Fora does less DMG than a Buket It hurts, all SMGs(except the MP5s) outperform it, badly.
The 9x39 ARs performance is too low to even consider using them given how expansive the ammo type are.
And then the large machine gun

all you needed was headshots. but because they've done penetration in this, they made the AK weak against late game enemies in a way that just feels artificial and new to the series but it feels bad i think.

like we know just how strong and important headshots are against humans

but the AK needs likes 7 rounds to the dome to kill a Diamond Exo.

So I was playing with an older save today, curious, I check Harpy to see if her quests are still bugged.
Surprised, not anymore, I can take quests from her repeatedly now, before that it wasn't even marked as completed after I finished her first quest.

Seems like if you already saved the game after triggering a bug, no amount of patch can help, I hope I'm wrong on this.
The only way to solve any of these is loading the previous saves.
Maybe this is why many people are still being blocked in the Ward path where either the door or the colonel refuses to operate lol

honestly it's the same feeling as in SoC, just a little bit more persistence, you can meet some people at Bar, then see them at Cordon, and then somehow they'd end up at Yantar, and then your car 3 locations ago would get stolen along with every piece of loot you collected over the span of a hundred hours

the biggest change compared to the trilogy (vibes-wise) is the fact stalkers collect loot and sell it, killing people now makes sense, they might have a necessary artifact, seeing some cool habar being sold at Bar is amazing too
