Compared to the older stalker games, a lot of things have improved, in my opinion. Like the anomalies more, like the artifacts and the hunting experience in general more, sound design is damn great, gunplay feels better for the most part (not all of them). Even if some mutants are much tankier than before. Starter economy seems better at least on first run... now if only all the bugs got fixed, A-life improved and game optimized more.
