The way I fixed it was, on the second half of the mission, no one at all can get downed because then the speech scene can’t fire, so you’ll need to use UETools to kill all hostile. Enable no clip; Then teleport command without coordinates, clear sky base, then back to zalyssija and it should work. You can find the exact coords online in some Reddit thread but you can’t skip any of those steps, otherwise everyone dies and the rest go aggro, such a dumb mission

Nice patch. I still had a memory leak happening ingame which made my fps go to 7-8, but that left after 4-5 seconds so much quicker then before being 10-15 seconds. Going into the|| slag heap|| area did still make me lose 20 fps. from 60-70 to 40-45

Literally just “UEToolsTeleportTo”. @mystic stream That happened to me too, you need to walk just outside of Zalyssija until you either hear gunfire or the radio message. Another strategy is to just sleep in the bed inside of the city hall, this will sometimes reset the positions of some of the characters which can allow for certain missions to progress properly

For anyone running the game on Steam and getting stuck when trying ot run it after the patch... here is a fix I've found for game not starting (stuck on "running" button)

Open the game folder

• Right click on the game in your Steam library -> Properties
• Navigate to "Installed Files" and press the "Browse" button.

Now about the fix

• In the Game folder, look for the file "Stalker2.exe"
• Right click -> Properties
• In the window that opens, go to the "compatibility" tab
• Uncheck "Run the program as administrator"

No, quite the opposite, being able to fix what they did in such a short time is insane. Working in the software engineering space myself I have an idea of what the pipeline can be like, so its actually impressive.

How to play and enjoy something that is utterly broken? By broken I mean quest line bugs that make the game crash all the time with no workaround. This is not something like complaining about bloodsucker HP that many people have problems with, when in fact you only need a shotgun and evade to left to deal with that creature. Or repair costs that can be minimized by picking your fights. No, I'm talking about many bugs that crash the game in the Swamps and now in SIRCA elevator - they're all connected with scripted emissions, GSC knows about it, so why on Earth not make fixing these things that make the game unplayable a damn priority? First part of the game is holding okay I guess. But as soon as you get into Swamps with the story, major problems begin. To me it looks like WIP and the first stage was just made stable for show. This game, as it is now, is in beta stage honestly.

On Sunday its december so download it then if thats when your internet quota is renewed.
