I am just trying to make it clear that shooting the person that appears to be at the PKM does not stop it from shooting. That NPC has their own weapon. Why was it designed this way? It was easier to do this than to have an NPC with a whole new mechanic for that single NPC to be touching and operating the gun. There was no need when the Player is just expected to get past it when they first enter the Cordon and are expected to try to go to the Rookie Village as soon as possible. However, some later Mods like CoC and CotZ have moved the PKM out of the tower and to the second floor of the building across the street and exposed in the open. That PKM does require someone to be standing behind it to operate.

If you leave the Marshes at night, there are less Military active patrolling around the perimeter, as they gather around the campfire after dark. Peek out to get it to fire again, let it empty its magazine again and then duck around the fence and downed tree, then go up the hill to the edge and go north to Cordon.

Clear Sky has different mechanic for wounds. First use bandage to stop bleeding (red blood drop on HUD will warn you). Second use medkit to heal the wound. Just spamming only bandages will not help or spamming medkits will not help, when you must do both in step 1 and 2. If you also have radiation, you must stop radiation at same time as other wounds.

I don't know where you are getting robbed. I wait until the Loners go into Garbage and take the level changer on the other side. This avoids losing money and getting negative points with the Bandits when you run from them. Once in Garbage, if you intend on gaining points with the Bandits, stay away from the Vehicle Junkyard. Do not go to any level changer ( Cordon, Agroprom, Red Forest, AW or DV ) with Bandits. Do not take Bandit jobs from the level changer Bandits, as they may give you a job but if you return for your reward, they may go hostile. If you need to get past the Bandits at any level changer, wait for an Emission and they will leave and then you can run through it once abandoned. You cannot avoid the bandit mugging once you go to the DArk Valley and return to Garbage to go to the Flea Market Cellar. Before you leave the DV< spend all your money on weapons, ammo and upgrades. Before you go in the Flea Market Cellar, dump everything in a nearby stash, a blue chest under a collapsed cement shed just to the south-west.

Don't worry. Almost everyone, including myself made the mistake because in SoC the Bandits were our enemies. GSC designed Clear Sky with that in mind, to trick people (not maliciously) but to teach people a new lesson that Clear Sky was a totally different game. When I left the Marshes, I dumbly joined the Loners the first chance in the Cordon and got a free Exo and fought the Bandits all the way to the Agroprom. It was only later in other play throughs did I learn the Game was designed to make you have different thinking. Strelok in SoC was a Loner. Scar is a Merc. Once you realize that Scar is wiser to NOT join any Faction, can he access ALL the Faction Traders and Repair Techs, to buy any weapon or armor and weapons and supplies from everyone. Stay neutral in the Faction Wars and don't get involved in any situation that hampers your pursuit of Fang and Strelok.

I tried CoC with AO and did not like it removing the weapons I liked and giving me janky weapons I didn't care for.

My opinions are only my opinions and should not be used for the basis of how to play any of the games, as the only way. People should read about and try any and all the Mods, until you find something that clicks.

I recommend any Mod, like Lost Alpha and others, that allows people to see how the Zone was originally envisioned and to compare those to the changes made for the retail games.

There's a huge difference between the original, very large Yantar and the tiny one we get in SoC, for example.

I do not make any negative comments on Facebook on any of my people that post and talk about Anomaly or Gamma, or any other Mod. In my Stalker FB group, people can post and talk about anything pretty much. Discord is different that it is more about chatting than simply posting screenshots, movies, memes or stories.

What makes Facebook and Discord, so great is meeting all the people from different countries. If you just want whiney, easily offended Americans, go to Reddit and r/stalker.

II think they were simply wrong in their predictions for September, just to postpone it by 2 months shows that they are sure that everything is in the bag and only the finishing touches are still missing, or at least need to be more mature.

its annoying, i just got an rtx 4080 less than a year ago, and i only feel like i have a decent computer when i play old games, its not enough for current gen

look at games like some of the old cod games, need for speed 2015 or some of the batman arkham games, they looks almost photo real and you can get like 300 fps in them on a decent computer
