There are different types of Saves in the game. If you jabbed a F-number key, those are Quick Saves and Quick loads. Quick Saves are easy to use but they are limited in number, constantly overwrite each other since you get about 2, and are subject to corruption and getting bugged. If your last Quick Save was not in a good place, you are screwed. For that reason, I recommend making Manual Saves. You do that by hitting escape and creating a name for each manual save. It takes more time, but you can have unlimited number of these, and you make them at specific locations so that if something goes wrong you can return to an earlier time, when things are good, you have good equipment and you are not in danger. Manual Saves will resolve 98% of all game problems. Many people rage quit the games because their only Quick Save failed them, and they have gotten so gar to the end of the game and then have nothing if it is bugged or corrupted.

You can also re-use Manual Saves by simply going through your list and clicking on it to overwrite it. For example, before leaving Zaton, I will use "Zaton Departure" and then upon arriving in the next level, I will make "Jupiter Arrival" rather than relying on Auto Saves alone that are triggered for leaving and entering levels. Sometimes those will crash and then you have nothing other than your last Manual Save.

they prob have a good API for that sorta thing, prob, they are a japanese company so its either a really good manual or complete nothing that you need to experiment with

It just gives the controller trigger a little resistance to recreate actual trigger pulls but if you hold it down with full auto it still shoots full auto. Just makes it more emersive. HLL has the trigger pull resistance

its clear Sodaz doesnt really know a lot about Stalker, thats fine, animation is good, and he clearly is devoting himself to stuff he knows way more clearly which also looks good, better in fact
