Well, we wanted ppl to use valid copies of the game instead of giving them a pirated version repack. The game will only work when you have a legit copy installed at least once on your pc, and by that I mean the key. It doesn't really matter if you Uninstalled the game ages ago cuz usually remnants of its files remain (user.ltx). That way, the game will still work without reinstalling again.
