Generally for story and atmosphere I would recommend Incubator, Dreamcatcher, Secrets of Cordon and Spatial Anomaly
If you want decent 8-10 hours story mod thats very in line with trilogy check out Thorny way
For more hardcore experience with good story and freeplay elements check Road to the North
