There are two expansions to come after release to Skif won't die. But I get what you mean, it just feels like going the route that they have done in the past games would make the player's progress and accomplishments void. This is an issue even games today still have.

Two separate examples of this would be CDPR and Rockstar. One company does the 'load up the save before the final mission' and the other does the 'put the player back into free-roam'

Most reviews said that the game was perfectly playable and top notch. There were some few bugs here and there, but not really game breaking ones. I personally suspect that some reviews might be slightly inaccurate simply because some of the ones who played the game are not zone veterans and barely knew stalker. I did catch wrong reviews on different occasions considering dying in an anomaly, from radiation, and overweight bugs ! So, considering all that, we can all feel more optimistic about the overall performance and state of the game. It will definitely be a masterpiece

Try being in the red forest in the middle of the night teeming with invisible bloodsuckers running everywhere with their screams getting closer or chimer jumping on you out of nowhere, you'll see It's inevitable

I have a general question for those who want to answer, how do you feel about the separate editions and cosmetics in them? I saw a couple YouTuber really complaining about it.

I personally never cared about cosmetics in game, granted, the DLC\expansions would bother me if it wasnt a franchise I really love, since I do love it I will get the best edition esp since I know they need the money.
If it would be a franchise I dont love that much or a company that I know dont put much effort into the game I would be bothered.

The digital one since I dont think theres any physical near me, that would be a different question.

So for instance in this case I wouldnt get the deluxe edition for some cosmetics, I would get Ultimate for the season pass and expansions, but again its a lot to do with the fact they do need the money and I would like to support them.

Getting pretty late into the game in Clear Sky and I gotta say it is actually pretty good. Definitely a lot better than I remembered it being. Still have some issues with the pacing of the story, some of the remaining bugs even after SRP, and a couple mechanics, but I have been enjoying this playthrough.

The game does assume you do at least one faction war because you otherwise don't get better weapons and armor until pretty late in the game

You can do some side quests for them and then join after Agroprom underground... But you just need to stay neutral to them to work with their tech.

Their faction war is also pretty buggy. Not worth the headache imo

Also makes your life harder since duty and loners will be hostile

Chimeras are deadly even in exosuits they can 3 hit you pretty much if you don't duck and dodge

Yeah. They usually are in the trilogy anyway. Pretty rare to see controllers, chimeras, or pseudogiants around randomly, almost always tied to a specific location or mission
