Hey guys, do you think you could help me? I am playing call of pripyat for first time and I am stuck at the monolith side quest. I am getting together “pripyat team“ and I found the monoliths, but they wont go with me until I find them faction. I already found that I need to do some side missions for freedom or duty to get theirs trust to let the monolith join but the problem is that freedom nor duty have side missions for me. Is it possible I already clicked on it, said: I dont care and then they are just: “ok, no side mission for you“ or it is just bugged? Should I start over again and do something differently?

you gotta get friendly either with Duty or Freedom in order to be able to recruit Strider into these factions

its easier to become friends with Freedom

all you gotta do is tell Loki about Fling/Magpie, do Yar's sidequest, get Mutant Hunter, Diplomat and A friend of stalkers achievements

I went to Loki and he is like no, we dont trust you, but there is no other dialog option for anything, just whats new in the zone, etc...

Usually the side missions that will improve your rep with the factions are not directly given by them

It's embarrassing to say it but I'd really enjoy trying out stalker anomaly. I KNOW THE STIGMA ASSOCIATED WITH IT. But still, it sounds really fun to have a sandbox version of the game like that. I know that there's a lot of bad things about it like the change in lore and everything, but I'd really like to just try it

despite what you hear it's actually come around to being my actual favorite, it's the first one in the series to have artifact detectors and repair/upgrades, with a whole lotta character with the faction bases

SoC is the best for world/vibe building, CS is kind of brutal and takes away some of the horror elements, lots of nerds like it the most but they're high mashochists

Well most could easily have a long range sniper class. Most could also have the bum rushing close range class. It would just have to cost more or less depending on the faction used. A monolith guy with a gauss rifle would obviously be worth more to use than a bandit with a sniper

I'd have to have a really complex node hierarchy in that case
