just do some sidequests for Clear Sky squad's leaders

approach squad leaders and ask them "How can I help you?"

doing sidequests for factions increases your relation with them

hey newbie here, am exploring Call of Pripyat now, may i ask a few dumb questions? >___<

• if a quest giver and their squad gets into a fire fight with a hostile faction, am i required to intervene to protect them (and the quest)? or will they just respawn should they die--the next day?
• is it best not to get into any conflict with any of the factions? like no point killing the mercenaries/bandits/stalkers? seems like they die often just from dealing with the wildlife
