The power balance in the zone shifted to the favor of the new faction, the ward. The neutral CoP ending suggested that duty and freedom are no longer a major force in the zone. Most of their members left and became free stalkers! I guess this ending might be the one to consider in the timeline that led to STALKER 2. All of the news and footages we had only focused on the ward. We saw strider too and that's an explicit mention to the noon too.

I just finished SoC for the third time (first time with ZRP) and it was buggier than ever before, bodies would just appear and disappear out of thin air, same with enemies, mission markers often didnt disappear and I didnt get the mission ti meet guide during the entire game

This makes me think if I even want to use SRP on my CS playthrough

Only Yanov Dutyers and Freedomers left their factions, while Rostok was still controlled by Duty and Army Warehouses controlled by Freedom

but realistically it'd be very logical if Duty and Freedom will just be former shadows of themselves in S2
