Halfway thru my stalker CoP replay, even though i remember the looks of it thru rose tinted glasses, it is still most definetly one of the tightest games ever, especially for its time period.

Suprisingly clear sky looks better graphical wise

It may be just the setting and maps

The theory about Scar being Charon is rather weak to begin with, since the only thing that connects them is the weapon of choice - and while it's true that Charon is the only character using it in SoC, it's not like the devs planned it in advance.
