Hello everyone, I decided to compare Atomic Heart and Stalker 2. I believe that AH is a more promising project (at least until the release of Stalker 2) because in AH the plot is much more prophetic and everything that happens in the plot is justified (there are even formulas according to which certain phenomines and actions occur), and in Stalker there is practically no explanation, only that everything happened becausefor the "Naospheres" . And in terms of the engine (I understand that the old versions of stalker are made on the old engine), but there are too many bugs in it) and in AH, most of the errors were corrected quickly enough. I'm already silent about the transfers of Stalker 2 (I think the whole community understands this problem) And now they're just remastering the trilogy. In my opinion, this is disrespectful to my community, I do not belittle or insult people who play stalker, I just express my opinion. You can share yours, it will be interesting to read 🙂

There is no stupid cursor you move around to navigate the inventory and menus (Thank god, Thank you so much for not going that route devs)

Its all done with the dpad which is so so so so much better.

I'm on xbox as well. I played the pc version last year for the first time. At least for Shadow of Chernobyl, I haven't played the others 2 yet as The feeling for those felt off compared to the first game. Hoping to finish them now that their on console.

I played for an hour and a half last night, and am looking forward to playing it more later. Even the PDA navigation is good and the looking around on the map.

They should be exactly the same aside from a few bugs if they show up. I haven't ran into any yet.

Just dropped in to say I’m so happy seeing the trilogy on my series x. This is a great way to play the games, it’s very well mapped to the controller. It was just in a Dev blog on their website though and they confirmed it was being developed for the ninth GEN consoles being the series X and PS5 and of course PC

I put around five or six hours into it last night and didn’t run into a single glitch or bug

Although I did notice that if I went to aim down sights before a reload animation finished it would cancel the reload and you’d have to do the whole thing again. doing pretty much any action whatsoever would just cancel the reload

Callistos combat was a lot of fun. Although it has been made worse by subsequent patches because the AI no longer swarm you and punish your openings so they just wait one at a time to attack you and you can just mindlessly Wale on all of them with your baton

"There is a glitch in vanilla SOC to repair armor, but for weapons.. yes and no.

When long weapon gets damaged (really bad condition in yellow or red) you can throw it to someone who uses only pistol. Then he will use it as a main weapon. When he dies condition of that gun is re-deternined (randomized). Often the condition becomes much better in the green portion of the condition bar. Problem is that the weapon will never drop in 100% as new this way.

When you only wound stalkers by shooting them with low powered ammo, or shooting them in the legs and letting the bleeding finnish the job they just drop their equiped long gun to the ground in original condition and no random wear is applied. Normally that means dropping guns in 100% as that was original condition. But if you give Stalker a gun at 70%, then wound him he will drop the gun again in 70%.

"Repair" of pistols is harder. I only managed to repair ruined beretta by giving it to stalker that had no gun at all. (Captured dutyer in Dark Valley) When he later died in Garbage checkoint I found the pistol in ok (80% ish) condition"
