I did save mole and i did get streloks stash, i just failed the "get info" mission.

Always make hard saves with the critical quest lines

I do it every time I enter an area I never been to before

Hence if I screw up somewhere along the line, I always go back to that save

Its how I do it, doesn't mean you should do it the same way. Everyone has tricks up his/her sleeve.
