Using free assets, especially for prototyping, is perfectly fine. At the very least use them to test out ideas without having to spend ages crafting your own. After all, agile development is all about the quick deployment, analysis and reflection of ideas. If you like, start picking up the skills needed to create your own as you develop. I see on your bio that you are a 3D artist, it won’t be long before you’ll be happy to inject your own work more often

aesthetically it's magnificant, but as i already said that's not the same thing as atmosphere - it's a very video gamey world, nothing atmospheric about it. Atmosphere grounds you, it immerses you, it makes the game world feel like a greater whole and a real tangible place - ER does none of that. There are some notable things that contribute to making a game atmospheric like visual coherency, art style being inherently atmospheric, intriguing world building, immersive sound design and most importantly how all of these interact with each other but overall it's very hard to describe what makes a game atmospheric, it either is or isnt.
