Question. Im gonna play through the three games. Iknow what order i should play them. "im on Shadow of Chernobyl" Should i play modded for Clear Sky and Pripyat? Like mods to make it more balanced. Or go in there no mods no nothing.

For Clear Sky you should play with SRP,if your bug tolerance is higher maybe without but it's generally agreed that you should do it with SRP
As for CoP no mods are needed to play it

One of the bigger problems in CS is pathfinding and such,which will annoy you a lot in Faction Wars
You can usually roll back a save but it saves you time and patience

Playing SoC is never suffering. Its slightly different each time. I dont recommend Gamma afterwards either. Theres so many other amazing mods to experience.

Do you know what is causing the crash? Are you eating a consumable? Dropping something? Any interaction?

From what I remember, eating food from a dead body's inventory can cause crashes. Small things like that you know? If your game is just crashing randomly or when you enter a specific area then it might be your system requirements or settings within the game
