all that it has is basically repeat ideas from past mods,it has not a single ounce of innovation in its body

I played SoC first, and I pirated it (I am from eastern Europe don't judge). After that I played CoP. Years go by, and I play a bunch of mods too, including CoC and Anomaly, which were my favourites. These helped me because a huge fan of the series, and resulted in me preordering ultimate + buying all three games. So for me, it worked out in GSC's favor in the end haha

Well, the two rifles have different purposes. While the TRs 301 is a bit of an all-rounder, the Tunder S14 is perfect for mid to close-range fire fights, while sporting the highest fire rate and having an integral grenade launcher. That and the use of 9x39 makes it beloved by some for it's lethality compared to other weapons

I'm currently in clear sky, have just started it and i'm by the pump station. There's an objective marker set to defend it and my pals seem like there's another enemy left. But i've been told to move up and capture their base. Should I be waiting for another wave or shall I move up?

The whole scene with the bubble looked bad imo. I also didn't like the way the weapon was handled when firing. In the original trailer, the weapon recoil looked better. It also looked like characters had death animations rather than the ragdolling we saw in original trailers.

But that's why they're delaying it which I prefer they delay tbh than release a poor product

The lighting was good, but when he tosses the bolt and it hits the anomaly, the large bubble is still present when the mini bubbles begin to appear. There are also no new shadows appearing for the bubble itself and the mini bubbles. The bubble also appears much brighter than the entire room

Imo the reflections on the bubbles do not reflect upon what is in the room. They appear blue and red when the room itself is white. You can also see the bolt land on the top left of the bubble, but when it lands, the animation begins in the center of the bubble

Honestly I can't notice lol. I prefer the ragdolls we saw in the original trailers. Death animations suck imo because they often do not accurately reflect where the bullet is hitting the person and it makes guns feel less powerful

Honestly I feel the bubbles are fine, some of the bubbles have those highlights outright removed and others have it replaced with that white blue glow of the sky. The whole exploding from the middle though, I suppose that’s fair seeing how the other anomalies react to bolts at different angles does work

I disagree completely the bubble in that room is way too bright, does not have accurate reflections, does not interact with the world properly, and lacks proper shadows

You can't even see your characters reflection in the bubble, which is fine because it may just be too much processing power, but something to note

it's probably gonna be an okay game

but I still am unsure if it has what it takes to be great

both in terms of overall performance and personal preference

they look like juice, as they are not dark enough, and for some reason they do not cover any significant portion of the screen

only the top bar of the screen, which is what Metro Exodus did as well, and that SUCKED

wasn't good at telling you "hey you're gonna die!" until it was already too late

When I first saw it in Exodus, I genuinely thought that my game might have been bugged with how the red silky blood effect was only at the top

Regarding the delay of S2, I actually like it, since I know that the devs are not going to rush to give us something full of bugs and errors, and also, by the first quarter of 2024 I will have my PC 100% finished, right now I can only play Anomaly with a few addons and a couple more games. So I will have enough time to buy the necessary components to be able to play S2

I understand you, but let me tell you that nowadays it is extremely difficult to see games that look "dark" like many games looked between 2005-2010, but I don't worry about S2 because I know it's in good hands, I'm sure. that they will do a good job. I watched yesterday's trailer a few times and noticed that the graphics changed compared to previous trailers and I suspect that's why they pushed the game back to early 2024.
