Afterwards, if you try to fill in the info with the same details, the site tells you you already registered your interest. But after a few days, it allowed me to register again. So, given this new chance, I made doubly sure my country was properly selected, only for the email to register everything, but having my region show up as "None". It's an EU country, neighbouring Ukraine, btw. 🙂
