Whatever you like best dependent on the game, or the mods for the games. Moded games I like the Scientist Exo Suit with the Spartan Helmet. Lots of wieght and some anomoly protection over other things and can still do well in fights. But I also fight as stealthy as I can from afar.

I don't recall a purely ans solely damage rework addon. Well, I don't think you even need that. Snorks are some crazy things, you better use shotguns in order to take them down in a close range. You just need to learn how to dodge them by simply running sideways when they initiate their jumps. You can also run through them and pick a good cover to take them down.

I have a feeling you get spooked so fast and dump a whole mag at them then run haha. Recoil would likely force you to miss your shots or hit in random spots. Head is the weak point of all NPCs, so aim at it.

And again, mutant hunt is best done with shotguns and shells for maximum impact

I believe it's pretty sizable. But I don't think GSC is going to cater to a newer portion of the community that wants to change the nature of the series, they have plenty of dedicated fans in ukraine and the rest of eastern europe

Also, if people really want stalker 2 to be like gamma, then they can just create whatever they want when GSC decides to release the modding tools for the game

Albeit, that might take a couple years possibly, since they certainly won’t be released day one

That error code is tied to wrong dll version or mixing up between both 64bit and 32bit dlls! So, he must've downloaded a non valid version ...

Anyways I had an interesting suggestion I wanted to float over for feedback

I spoke to a friend about what they’d want to see in s2 and after some discussion he suggested that surplus guns could be able to be combined into weapons repair kits, which will let you DIY repair your weapon condition by a small amount.

There’d probably be a max cap to how high you can raise your condition (75% of total condition amount?) but this could serve as an interesting sidegrade to having to use mechanics, without having to scavenge for very specific rifle parts like in some mods

It kinda goes without saying but this would also create an incentive to pick up all of those loose weapons you can’t sell anyways

Another idea I had shared here a long time ago is weapon parts. But not in a repair sense.

Various rare parts found on some random weapons that will give your weapon minor boosts or tradeoffs. This’ll allow a slightly less linear upgrade path than older titles and will let players squeeze a little bit more performance outta their weapons, while increasing loot variety.

The catch tho is that most of the rare parts will be parts you can’t take out of the gun in the field, which would also incentivize looting weapons & bringing them back to a gunsmith for proper disassembly

Kind of like fallout 4’s weapon modification system except WITHOUT the garbage crafting.
