and I tried memories of the zone, that loaded, but wouldn't let me use controller, and that's an issue for me as I'm a bit of a console pleb with a new PC

If it helps I installed SoC, played a bit after installing ZRP, it was fine, then unistalled it, installed memories of the zone, that didn't work, so reinstalled SoC and for some reason ZRP was still there?

motz is standalone and runs on ogsr, a different engine than vanilla. I don't think you can just install and uninstall mods willy nilly like that and expect it all to work without reading how it works. also ZRP doesn't necessarily work with vanilla saves as well.

i believe motz uses zrp too, so that was probably leftover from a combination of not "installing" and "uninstalling" (extracting / deleting folders) correctly

You are 100% correct. I remember turning Clear Sky on maximum with my GTX 275 and it was a slideshow

now its easy to max and the game ages better for it
