it's not uncommon to see mod ideas implemented in the sequel. I mean it would be stupid not to - this is a direct community feedback with defined metrics of how interested are people in these features.

I'm for one super happy to see companies like CDPR basically incorporating mods into their games as they go with Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk

I'm old and tired, I hate all the modding process. It's so bothersome to load up tons of mods separately, managing dependencies and conflicts, repeating the process every time you want to return to the game. Proper mod support is the way to go.

I just started CS for the first playthrough and the difficulty between it and soc is telling as soon as you get into the swamp

Can't really help you for sure, but play the classic game first. There are story modes and mods that want to improve the gameplay without making their new story really important. Anomaly is from the latter, and it has removed official locations from the original game.

there is a suit like the psz 9d with 90% radiation protection but its basically identical to the seva but more expensive, if your having a hard time with rads and still want good bullet prot I would get a seva
