This is probably just wishful thinking (or pure fantasy), but has anyone considered the prospect that Stalker 2 not appearing at the Xbox Showcase might be a red herring? We know that the game was originally delayed from April 2022 to December 2022. Why would GSC agree to such a short delay if the game was nowhere near ready? The game was eventually pushed back to an unspecified date in 2023, but The Game Awards suggested that Stalker 2 was targeting a release by the end of June. What if Stalker 2 appears as a surprise reveal at the showcase and is shadow-dropped the same day?
