Look man, the game probably saved the game after a corrupted file, so reinstalling won't really do anything cuz the game backed up things for you? Try to reset and see if the game runs

Btw even after I uninstall, it does not uninstall the save files locally stored on my PC. If the game still wont work I will move all the save files out of the STALKER directory and see if it works then.
