honestly save scumming is part of the gameplay and patience, which is why it gets compared to DS sometimes.. dying is a part of it

it depends on the game, in stalker it's definitely a part of it

yeah the enemies can take you out in a few shots if you are playing on master difficulty

spend like ten minutes in a combat encounter only for the last guy to jump you with a shotgun and blow your head off instantly

If he has one, you better check if you already have the artifact needed before selling anything and taking the mission instead

You'll earn better money, plus extra goodwill and reputation points.
